We have taken Drills, an established system for bassoon playing that I have developed over the last 25 years, and adapted it for the use of other winds instruments. This system was the result of my own daily practice, focusing on honing the everyday tools I needed for playing in orchestra. By implementing the system in my bassoon teaching, as well as woodwind coachings, for the last 15 years, I have received constant evaluation and feedback from students and professionals. It has been a cornerstone in MuHo Mannheim bassoon class, and has contribued to over 100 successful jobs.
This edition presents the original system in both bass and treble clef, as well as exercises for two instruments to play together.
